Support
Narrail turns one recording into separate tasks, calendar events and notes. If something is not working, or you need something the app does not do yet, write to us. A person reads every message.

We reply within two business days. To get a useful answer on the first reply, include:
- your device model, and the iOS or Android version;
- what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead;
- whether the device was online at the time.
Do not send recordings or transcripts unless we ask for them, and then send only the part that shows the problem.
Recording and transcription
- Narrail needs microphone access to record. If access was denied, open the system Settings app, find Narrail, and turn the microphone back on.
- Recording continues while the app is in the background.
- Transcription runs through our transcription service when the device is online, and on the device itself when it is not. On-device results are less accurate. That is expected, and the pipeline still works end to end.
- The dictation language is a separate setting from the interface language and from the language the AI writes in. If words come back wrong, check the dictation language first.
Dates
Narrail takes the date from your own words and checks it twice: once from the language model, once from a date parser running on the device. When the two disagree, the date is marked uncertain and shown to you instead of being saved. Correct it with one tap on the review screen.
Reminders, calendar and permissions
- Nothing is scheduled, exported or sent until you confirm it on the review screen. The AI never creates a reminder or a calendar event on its own.
- Calendar and Reminders access is requested the first time you export something to those apps, not at first launch.
- Notification permission is requested the first time you ask for a reminder.
- Narrail keeps at most 60 scheduled notifications at a time, nearest first. As reminders fire, later ones take their place automatically.
Subscription and billing

Cancelling stops the next renewal. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Your data
- Your notes and recordings live in a database on your own device. No account is needed to use the app.
- Audio leaves the device only to be transcribed, encrypted on the way, and is deleted as soon as it has been processed. It is never kept for analytics and never appears in debug logs.
- Delete all data in Settings removes every note and task on the device. Export first from the same screen if you want a copy — Export as Markdown or Export as JSON.
- If you created an account with your email address, Delete account in Settings releases that address and signs the device out. Notes on the device are kept.
- To ask what we hold about you, or to have it erased, write to privacy@narrail.audzei-ie.com. The Privacy Policy, linked at the top of this page, describes what is processed and by whom.
Something is broken
Tell us in one message what you did and what happened. If the app closed unexpectedly, say roughly when — crash reports are timestamped, and that is usually enough for us to find yours.
